Hey so Inktober starts tomorrow, the month where every artist must legally draw something related to a prompt for each day of October.

But I was thinking, I'm no artist (in the sense that I can't draw or paint or wuteva) but I can write music. So what if I made a short song for each day's prompt instead?

31 songs is a lot to write in a month, but these would only be short songs and as you're probably already aware, I have a thing for writing music very quickly anyway.

Also, I've not made any music in a long time and I've been wanting to get back into the groove (no pun intended???) of it.

I've begun work on the first prompt today and I will update this page with links to each finished song. I'll upload each finished song on the corresponding day of the prompt!

Note: All of these songs will be remastered once the month is up, as the general mixing/mastering process is being heavily rushed.

A couple of months ago I announced I was writing an EP. Things have been massively delayed on that due to issues in my personal life and honestly things have gone extremely sour to the point where a few plans that I had have been completely foiled.

I still have the lyrics for the songs written, but I'm not sure how many will end up being on the final album. The plan for the album was for it to be more about some of the insecurities I was having at the time when I was writing those tracks, but because of what I'm going through I've not been able to focus on those insecurities as much. I just don't feel I can give it the heart and soul that I was able to back then.

I could totally re-write the album to be about what I'm going through at the moment but I feel like that would be a bit inappropriate and essentially kicking the can down the road, so-to-speak.

If I end up getting into the right mindset to actually start working on the music for this EP, it will likely end up consisting of 4 tracks instead of 6 like I was hoping. Who knows at this point.

Hopefully I'm able to release SOMETHING before the year ends, I can't have the only thing I release this year be Wing It!

currently writing an album. the title of it and the name of the tracks are yet to be determined but i have ̶4̶ 6 songs planned for it, all of which will likely have lyrics.

i hope that i can start making the actual music soon, but i am dealing with a few personal issues at the moment and i'm extremely behind my 2023 prog list so i don't know when i'll have the time.

if all goes well i may be able to get a release for sometime in august or more likely september. that all assumes that these personal issues get resolved soon though.

new album-a-day: Wing It!.

this attempt at an AAD was a complete fail, barely made it past the 10-minute mark because of poor time management. still happy with what came out of it.

for the first time i drew "proper" album art rather than just using shape tools and crazy filters or hiring someone else to do it.
