I really like music, but I'm a total noob. I would be interested in your offer, but it wouldn't go this month.
but here is my question, can you also make songs for pictures? if you were given the instruments you wanted and a direction and you made a song for a picture, would that work?

yes! i could certainly make a song for an image if that's what you want. a visual representation of something would actually be very helpful with composing anyway as it would allow me to get a proper feel for what sort of tone or mood to use. i tend to find that album art for example is more or less a visual representation of a collection of songs, so it would be a bit like me doing it the other way around which would be interesting!
the sunflower image you linked to could definitely be something i can make a song for if you wanted me to. if you wanted it to be taken in a certain direction i'd be more than glad to go with that.
